It always brings great joy when things go good beyond your expectations. The day was such a one for me .I guess for many. I don’t know how to express what I am feeling now. Niju , Pratheek and me reached by 9.30. Eby Sir soon joined us. Our beloved principal Ramachandran Sir blessed with his words.
Though we started bit lately, we made the maximum utilization of time.To start with the Ice breaking session is the traditional way to begin an orientation session. But the way the groups went with the task was really magical and historical. Rather than allocating fixed time to the made groups. A computer tool was used , which counted and displayed seconds enhanced with music. The idea to use a stop watch in that manner was just to make you capable of time management. All groups made us feel that they are the masters in the same. Group members interacted well. Presented the task well. One thing Eby Sir told is that “I never knew these people had these much ideas…we should have utilized this much before”. Niju ,Pratheek and me agreed as his words were same as our findings. I have noticed some people who usually stay back from activities; even then they also did the best. As sir told I really feel we should have done this before. One thing I can say without any doubt is that, I never had such an interactive session in CGPU before. Kuddos to the team!!!! I am seriously planning to be a group member next time…J
Then Eby Sir started with the account management stuff. I think Niju noticed the change of expression on my face. Each point or tip Sir told had some stories from the past. Those things were flashing through my mind. “You should get the voucher signed by the auto driver….” . There was a time when Pratheek and I searched for an auto driver for more than 3 hours to get a signature and settle the bill. (at the time of IMS program).
The reality of being out of the College, made my face little gloomy.
I am very much impressed with Roshan’s effort. We all appreciate his initiative approach. And expect the same from all. Things were to the point and he showed the liberty to elaborate the ideas when needed. I expect all cords would make a resume and get a thorough check from Eby Sir or we people soon.
Next it was my turn. Some golden “modules” of those wonderful days came as words. Think some got stimulated with it. Also I feel that the perception to “Our Google” has changed.
Soon I had to leave the hall. It was a great fun with the cords. I am sure with today’s program a good team spirit has built up. The enthusiasm in each is flooding. I believe these people can take CGPU to better heights.
